St Barnabas
Hospice has been Highly Commended in Building Better Healthcare Awards 2011 for
Best Interior Design. The BBH
Awards aim to recognize and reward excellence in the
healthcare built environment.
The judges comments were:
“Innovative use of curves and
colour set this design apart”
“They have used artificial and natural light really well”
“The strength behind this project is in providing a better environment for people at the end of their lives and we are all behind that”
We have
worked closely with Belinda Holden (Impact Art) and artists Sasha Ward
(stained glass, digital wallpapers and marmoleum motifs), Suzan Swartzberg
(birds installation and memorial book painting) and Jaqueline Seifert (prints
on upholstery and digital wallpaper) to achieve the stunning final result!
